Alexandra Forrest from Winnipeg

Hey, my name is Ally Forrest. I am a Canadian exchange student from Winnipeg, Manitoba. For those of you geographically challenged, that is right in the middle of Canada. I live in a medium sized igloo, and we have 4 dogs that pull our sled. Just kidding, I live in a regular house, but I do have a dog.
When I first came to this school, I was surprised at two things: 1.) there are a lot of stairs here (and I'm really out of shape.) 2.) Everyone is so friendly! I felt included right away, and I never feel home sick while I'm at school. :)
Because the real reason for me being here is to improve my German, feel free to come and say hi (in German), let me know what kind of fun things there are to do here, and to correct me! And I could even help you with your English, too!
Thank you to all the people who have already made me feel so at home here! I know the next 6 weeks are going to fly by. :)
